EASIEST Way To Ace Your SACs, Blitz Your Exams and
Virtually GUARANTEE The Study Score You Want!
Even if You're Struggling in Methods or Barely Scraping a Pass...
To: All Year 12 Maths Methods Students
If you want to know how you can easily get a 30, 35, 40 or even a 45+ study score…
Regardless if you suck at Methods and have no clue what is going on, or you’re getting average marks – or even if you know the content and wanting to maximize your study score…
Then this is the most important message you’ll read today.
So pay close ATTENTION.
As you already know your study score is based on your SAC marks but more importantly its determined by your exam results.
But here’s the BIG PROBLEM…
Exam (and SAC) Questions are SHOCKINGLY Different to Textbook Questions
The difficulty of these questions are on whole a new level.
Does this sound familiar?
You just got your SAC results back and you got a crappy mark. You screwed up – everything you’d worked so hard for has gone down the drain.
Now you feel depressed and scared cuz you’re not gonna meet the pre-requisite for uni. Thinking to yourself,
– I did all the textbook questions
– I made sure I understood the concepts well
– I practiced heaps of questions (hard ones not easy ones)
– I even hired a tutor to help me
“Where did I go wrong? Is there any hope of getting my dream study score?”
Here’s what happened. You weren’t EXPOSED to SAC or exam style questions.
And this is NOT YOUR FAULT.
It’s The Unfortunate Reality of The Education System!
You see, in class you get taught from textbook questions.
You’re then assigned homework from textbook questions.
If you get stuck you’ll hire a tutor and work through textbook questions.
And when you ask for advice “How to do I improve in Methods”
Teachers, tutors, your friends and even “smart” students will all repeat the same advice.
Practice. Practice. Practice.
Determined to do well, you lock yourself in your room and smash through every single textbook question, (some students even go through two textbooks)
Then comes your next SAC (or EXAM). You sit down and begin to read the questions and be like – WTH? The questions don’t even seem from the same subject. They’re nothing like what you learnt from the textbook.
You walk out of that room devastated – your pride completely taken away – and you picture yourself waving good bye to the study score you wanted.
Here’s the TRUTH About Your Study Score
Being fair to the examiners – when writing papers they have to write easy, medium, hard and ridiculously hard questions.
Its how they can separate the below average, the average, the smart and the genius students.
The TRUTH is you’re not being tested on your understanding of textbook questions.
In REALITY you’re being tested to see how well you understand Methods compared to every other student in the state…
and basically this is what your study score is.
It’s a RANKING of how well you performed in comparison to every other student.
Don’t get me wrong – you need your textbook to learn the basics and the fundamentals –
But knowing just the basics and the fundamentals is never going to be enough.
To rise above the others you need to EXPOSE yourself to as many exam style questions as you can…
and as early as you can.
It’s Not Easy to Get a High Study Score (i.e. Beating the Math “Freaks” and The Spesh Kids)
In Fact, It’s Incredibly Difficult!
Until now, you’ve really only had 2 options for getting a high study score:

Do lots of practice exams by yourself

Hire a maths tutor to help you
But with these options come several problems.
First, learning how to answer exam style questions by yourself is far from easy. The answers provided in the assessor’s report are way too brief and often lack detail….
and if you don’t have the time or the motivation to learn by yourself or maybe you’re just not confident enough, then of course you have the option of hiring a tutor.
But, Again, There are Many
problems
When Hiring a Tutor
First, the vast majority of tutors may be great at maths – but they can’t teach really well. Some people have the ability to impart knowledge and some people don’t.
It’s not always a matter of qualification or experience.
Finding someone who is patient, dedicated to your progress, encouraging and one that makes you feel better about yourself can be challenge to find.
Secondly, 1 on 1 tutoring can be useful – especially if you’re struggling to understand and want to “fill in” what you’ve missed in class – but you can’t rely on tutors as the magic solution to getting better marks.
Your tutor isn’t going to be sitting next to you in the exam room, so you’re going to have to draw on your own knowledge and skills to get through Methods.
Thirdly, hiring a tutor isn’t cheap. The lower-priced ones charge $40 an hour. The average tutor charges between $50-$80 an hour, and the good tutors charge more than $80 an hour.
There’s only so much you can cover in one session. You can’t cover everything. So you end up hiring a tutor once, twice or even three times week.
What’s worse is when some tutors lock you in and ask for money upfront for several weeks of tutoring. This can cost you anywhere between $1000 to $2000 dollars. Paying these kind of fees upfront in addition to other educational resources puts tremendous stress on parents to pay.
So, where does that leave you
It leaves you wasting time and money and still ending up with a crappy mark, making you more frustrated and even worse shattering your self-confidence.
…and probably wishing you were “smart” and knew how to answer questions by yourself.
Now, on the flipside, you could purchase all sorts of supplementary books and attend lectures or workshops…
and there’s plenty out there to choose from.
But… with that,
there are even more problems:
FIRST
It costs money to buy supplementary books, and while you can get most books for less than $40, it’s still spending money in something that’s ultimately dependent on whether you read it, absorb it, and most importantly – understand it
SECOND
It costs even more money to attend Methods lectures or workshops. These sessions usually cater for 100-300 students and cram the course into a couple of hours. Which means topics are rushed and not enough details can be provided – and if you end up with a bad speaker then its just going to be draining and an extremely boring lecture to listen to.
THIRD
Here’s the biggest problem of them all – maths isn’t something you can read about or attend a lecture/workshop and expect to be good at.
It requires CONSISTENT effort.
You need to work consistently at Methods throughout the year and EXPOSE yourself to various styles of questions. Then, mindfully reflecting on your mistakes and learning how to avoid them.
That’s really the only way you can improve at Methods and start getting the results you want.
So you see, buying supplementary books or attending lectures/workshops will cost you both time and money – and chances are two days after the lecture/workshop you’ve virtually forgotten everything.
WHO AM I ?
AND How Do I
Know This ?
Hi, I’m Pariz, and I Graduated with a Certificate in Maths in 2014 and been tutoring Maths Methods ever since… and I’ve personally experienced all the challenges I just mentioned.
That’s why I know what a pain math can be for students. You wanna high score but annoyingly enough, your options are limited and come with plenty of problems.
To get around that, I had to teach myself math, which is how I know while it isn’t impossible to do, it’s not easy.
At a minimum, it takes a lot of time – tons of practice – and heaps of money.
Take me, for example. I could never understand what my teachers were explaining during lectures.
I spent hundreds of dollars on books and solutions manuals and spent hours watching YouTube maths tutorials, which honestly taught me more than what I learnt from my uni lectures.
It wasn’t enough for me to just read these books. I also had to painstakingly analyze the mistakes I made so I could avoid these same mistakes in the future…
and I practiced a stack of past exam papers until I finally got it and things started to make sense.
Of course, that also meant putting up with lots of trial-and-error. I’d be stuck on a question and spent hours trying to figure out – and there always seemed to be another question that would stump me.
Imagine being stuck yet again 🙁 Each time it happened, it was super frustrating, and it meant spending hours again trying to figure out the answer!
It was tedious, slow and took a LOT of time – and I always wondered if there was any way I can speed it up.
After all, life doesn’t exactly stop and wait while you learn how to solve math problems. When studying not only was I working full time but I was also trying to make sure I spent enough time with family and friends and find time to go to the gym.
However, the news isn’t all grim …
After Investing Heaps of Time and Money, My Goal was Ultimately Achieved.
I’d FINALLY gotten good at maths and was fortunate to graduate with an average score of above 90 percent.
Ever since, I’ve been able to help Maths Methods students improve their marks and build up their self confidence.
Which is how I know that the best way to maximize your study score is through exposing yourself to exam style questions.
However, until now, it wasn’t easy (or time efficient) to learn exam style questions.
And that’s why I’m so excited to tell you about a solution I created that’s infinitely easier, faster, and cheaper than hiring a tutor or learning Methods by yourself!

Questions YOU MAY HAVE
The study design changed in 2016, would it even be worth going through papers before 2016?
This is true. But the course hasn’t changed that much and alot of the topics are still relevant.
Basically, the topics that were removed were Absolute Value Functions, Markov Chains in probability, Linear Approximation, Related Rates and the new topic Statistics was added.
This is why I’ve grouped the questions into subtopics so you can easily ignore the topics that aren’t applicable, which is really only a handfull of questions.
As for the remainder of the questions, they are within the study design and are still very good practice, so dont think of them as “they’re not relevant anymore”.
Why should I join The Maths Methods Club when I can get free written and video solutions online?
Yes. There ‘s plenty of free and useful resources online that can help you with Methods. From my experience YouTube is the best resource anyone can find.
If you’re wanting to learn the basics and fundamentals Khan Academy is great and I personally recommend PatrickJMT and Brian McLogan.
Their videos are good if your’e struggling with a particular topic – and so you can watch lots of videos on that one topic. The only problem with YouTube is they rarely go to the same depth and difficulty as exam questions, especially when it comes to combining content from different topics.
There are also plenty of Maths Methods exam solutions on YouTube. The biggest issue for you here is that the questions aren’t grouped in a way that allows you to attempt much.
You have to watch videos that are quite long which means you have to go through the entire video to find the questions your looking for. This will add massive amounts of time to your study. You might not have that much time, specially if your starting exam questions later in the year.
It also wouldn’t work if your wanting to focus on your weaknesses and trying to fill the gaps in your knoweldge on a specific topic.
Won't I forget everything if I start learning exam questions early?
Offcourse you will. Unless you’re a genius, in which case you probably wouldn’t be here.
Its inevitbale, most student will forget and one reason is because they never grasped or fully understood the topic when they first learnt it. Which means they have to re-learn it.
If you’ve learnt a topic and genuinly forgotten it, that’s OK. It’s still worth learning exam questions early on because its always faster and easier to re-learn it the second time.
This is why you get access to the solutions for the entire year. If you ever forget anything you can quickly log back in and rewatch the videos as you need.
